Chequamegon Bay becomes a popular ice fishing community in the winter months. Before going out on the ice, check with Anglers All, River Rock Bait Shop in Ashland, or Outdoor Allure in Washburn for current ice conditions.
The spring smelt run takes place as the ice goes out on Chequamegon Bay. Bring your family, friends, seine nets and buckets for a great time on the shores of Lake Superior.
